IN-STORE
QUOTATIONS AND CUSTOM-MADE ORDERS

all
quotations will remain valid for a period of 30 days from the day quoted. No
work will be undertaken or manufactured on verbal instruction. Confirmation
must be made via email or a hardcopy is essential with a receipt of 50%
deposit. Contact the sale dept for any custom orders, once manufacturing
of a custom order has been started, the order cannot be amended or cancelled.

custom made
orders cannot be returned for credit under any circumstances.

check your order as information on our documentation is what is provided to the
factory.

any errors
must be brought to our attention immediately telephonically or via email.

 

IN-STORE
PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A 50%
non-refundable deposit is required on placement of order and balance to be paid
in full prior to collection of order.

Goods
remain the property of Jad Doors until fully paid for.

 

REFUNDS,
RETURNS, FAULTS AND WARRANTIES

JAD DOORS (PTY)
LTD will accept returns for justifiable reasons, however the customer is
obliged to carefully check all goods on arrival and comply with the
procedure below before making any claims.

Please do
not sign goods as unchecked, as your signature is acceptance of the goods being
in good condition and will cause a claim to be rejected.

Any product
reported as faulty on the day of delivery must not be fitted, finished or
altered as JAD DOORS (PTY) LTD cannot replace products if any alterations
have been carried out. Any deviation from the manufacturer’s instructions
will cause the warranty to be void.

Any product
that was purchased from JAD DOORS(PTY)LTD with an original invoice dated 90
days ago or more, cannot be returned or credited under any circumstances.

Any goods
purchased as factory seconds, clearance, end of range, ex display stock or
warehouse damaged are sold as seen, and do not carry a warranty and are
not returnable or refundable.

Any items
purchased online can be returned within 14 working days by yourself from the
date of purchase to JAD DOORS directly with the delivery note that was
included with your order.

Kindly note
that JAD DOORS(PTY)LTD will not take the responsibility of uplifting any goods
that you wish to return.

 

PRODUCTS

All JAD
DOORS(PTY) LTD products, doors & accessories carry a 1-year manufacturing
guarantee.

JAD DOORS
(PTY)LTD sources Timber and raw material from leading manufacturers which
have maintenance instructions and warranty conditions. Kindly contact our
sales team for advice on our products.

Product
image colours on web site may vary from product being supplied. All JAD DOORS
products may vary in colour and texture, we strongly advise customers to
purchase all goods for one project at the same time as we are unable to
guarantee continuity of a product that you may be hoping to match with
goods previously supplied.

Wooden
doors taller than 2.4 meters are susceptible to twisting and we are unable to
take responsibility if this occurs.

Econo doors
supawood and Masonite doors are intended for internal use only kindly note
that JAD DOORS (PTY)LTD’s responsibility stops at the supplying of the door. We
DO NOT offer any installation of any of our products.

All engineered and solid wooden doors are meant for semi-exterior use only and should not be exposed to direct sunlight or rain.

All internal doors are for internal use only.

 

 

CARE OF
DOORS AND WINDOWS

Wood is a
beautiful, natural material that can last a lifetime if properly treated.

in our
factory, we take the greatest possible care in order to provide you with a
top-quality product.

Unless
otherwise requested at the time of ordering our products are delivered
untreated. Until they are treated wooden products are highly susceptible
to variations in humidity and temperature which can cause movement in the
wood. we strongly recommend, that our care and treatment instructions, supplied
with every product, are followed and that the instructions provided by the
manufacturer or whatever product is used to seal the wood are strictly
adhered to. In particular, it is important to store the products
properly and to make sure that they are treated as soon as possible after
delivery.

We take no
responsibility for the results of inadequate treatment or poor storage
conditions.

Doors and
windows should be stored flat and clear off the floor, on three bearers longer
than the width of the doors.

The
products should not be stored on the edge, or on end, or leaning against walls.

They should
be stored in a dry building with protection from dirt and moisture.

To avoid
discoloration and possible fading of the timber, they should be stored out of
direct sunlight.

The
products should not be stored or installed in a building until all wet trades
have been completed and allowed to dry.

 

TREATMENT
AND INSTALLATION

Installation
and treatment of the product must be completed by a qualified installer,
more particularly a registered and qualified carpenter. Installation by a
non–qualified installer will result in the voiding of guarantees and
warranties A sealant suitable for the intended location of the product
must be applied, in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions, to all surfaces, including top and bottom, lock cavities, etc., no
more than seven days after delivery and before installation.

We
recommend the use of an oil-based sealant incorporating fungicidal and
pesticide agents.

If any part
of a door, window, or door frame is cut, drilled, or planed, the exposed wood
should be treated immediately.

It is very
important to ensure that the top and bottom of doors receive two coats of
varnish.

Maintenance
should be carried out at a minimum of six months intervals between maintenance.

 

IN-STORE
PURCHASE TERMS & CONDITIONS 

Manufacturing
of products holds a lead time of 14-21 working days. As a company JAD
DOORS(PTY)LTD does not offer delivery service, however, we can refer you to
a private driver which has their delivery fee of charge. Once the goods
leave the premises with the private drivers, JAD DOORS (PTY)LTD will not be
held responsible for any damages during transit, however, goods are checked
that they leave the premises in an impeccable condition.

JADDOORS(PTY)LTD
will not be liable for any claims arising as a result of delayed deliveries due
to strikes, material shortages, weather conditions, damages, or any
circumstances beyond our control.

We accept
no liability if costs are incurred by booking a carpenter before checking and
receiving all goods.

A delivery
driver should not be expected to assist in any offloading or transporting of
products.

are expected to arrange hands-on assistance to help offload the delivery.

 

Registration and use of the website

Only registered users may order Goods on the Website.

You agree and warrant that your username and password shall:

·         be used for personal use only; and

·         not be disclosed by you to any third party.

·         You agree that, once the correct username and password relating to your account have been entered, irrespective of whether the use of the username and password is unauthorised or fraudulent, you will be liable for payment of such an order, save where the order is cancelled by you in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Online Stock availability

We cannot guarantee the availability of stock but will use reasonable efforts to ensure that stock is available. We will notify you when goods are no longer available after you have placed an order. We will refund you the Rand value for the goods you have purchased.

We rely on the information provided to us by our providers regarding the availability of stock. We are not liable for any inaccuracies in the information supplied to us please contact our sales team if you have any stock-related queries.

 

 Online Payments

We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using appropriate encryption technology. It is the customers responsibility to ensure it keeps it details safe and ensures that payment is made to the correct account.

Registration Data
If you register on our website, we store your chosen username and your email address and any additional personal information added to your user profile. Purchase Data
To receive product support, you have to have one or more Envato/AncoraThemes purchase codes on our website. These purchase codes will be stored together with support expiration dates and your user data. This is required for us to provide you with downloads, product support, and other customer services.

If you have registered on our website and have a valid support account, you can submit support tickets for assistance. Support form submissions are sent to our third party Ticksy ticketing system. 7. How Long We Retain Your Data For
When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation. If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
8. Security Measures
We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site.
